Terms of Service
Last updated: April 21, 2026
By accessing TerraOS ("the Service"), operated by Transaction Science, Inc., you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
TerraOS provides operating infrastructure for land-based productive assets: parcel and title records, asset and unit inventory, metering, booking and tenancy, dynamic pricing, maintenance and dispatch, syndication and capital, and compliance. TerraOS is infrastructure — it does not replace the sponsor, operator, broker, attorney, accountant, or fiduciary.
2. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of its parcel, asset, and financial records, for compliance with all applicable real estate, securities, and operating laws, and for fiduciary duties owed to any investors or tenants. Automated actions (pricing changes, maintenance dispatches, distribution runs) are opt-in per workflow per tenant.
3. Data Handling
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-GCM) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Ledger entries and sensor telemetry are stored in hash-chained append-only logs. Retention defaults are stated in the Privacy Policy; customer-configurable within legal limits.
4. Capital & Securities
TerraOS supports the mechanics of syndication — Reg D, Reg A+, state blue-sky, accredited-investor verification, K-1 generation, distribution runs — but does not itself act as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or transfer agent. The customer or its qualified counterparty retains these roles.
5. Federation
TerraOS federates to TX Science, SettlementScience, LegalOS, ComplianceOS, InsuranceOS, TrustOS, InformationOS, ExpertOS, and CyberSecurityOS. Use of federated services is governed by the terms of those platforms.
6. Limitation of Liability
TerraOS is provided "as is." Transaction Science, Inc. does not guarantee specific financial, operational, or regulatory outcomes. Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
